About
I'm TANVI PONUgoti
I am a student, athlete, dancer, black belt, science enthusiast, and community volunteer.
Sports have been a major part of my life. I competed on my high school swim team, earned several medals, placed first or second at districts, and held a school freestyle record. I have also participated in volleyball, Bharatanatyam, Garba, and karate.
After experiencing injuries, I began to understand how difficult recovery can be. An injury does not only cause physical pain. It can also affect confidence, friendships, motivation, and identity.
Through Beyond the Game, I want injured athletes to know that they are still strong, valuable, and capable—even when they cannot compete.
